About the firm

A boutique firm, by design

A consultation at Beaumont Law

Beaumont Law was founded in 2014 to offer the calibre of advice you would expect from a large firm, with the attention and plain language of a small one. We take on fewer files so each client gets a lawyer who knows their matter, returns their calls, and explains the law without the jargon. Most first consultations are free, and we will always tell you honestly whether you need a lawyer at all.

Common questions

Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. Most initial consultations are complimentary and confidential, so we can understand your situation and tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
How much will my matter cost?
It depends on the work involved. Many matters can be handled on a flat fee, and we will give you a clear estimate before you commit to anything.
Is everything I tell you confidential?
Yes. Anything you share with us is protected and confidential, whether or not you decide to retain the firm.
Can we meet virtually?
Absolutely. We meet clients in person at our Bay Street office or by phone and video, whichever suits you.
What should I bring to a consultation?
Any documents related to your matter (agreements, letters, court papers) and a short summary of what is happening. If you are not sure, just bring yourself and we will guide you.
