Terms of Service

Last updated July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BuiltWise. By purchasing a plan or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

About BuiltWise

BuiltWise is an AI-powered service that builds and operates websites and chatbots for small businesses. In these Terms, “BuiltWise,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service, and “you” refers to the customer using it. You can reach our team any time at trybuiltwise@gmail.com.

The service we provide

BuiltWise builds a website and an AI chatbot trained on your business, then hosts and maintains them for you. We typically build a working preview first, so you can review it before you pay. When you choose a plan, we connect your details, take your site live, and the chatbot answers customer questions and captures leads on your behalf. We may add, improve, or retire features over time as the service evolves.

Fees, billing, and cancellation

  • The one-time setup fee is non-refundable, because we begin building as soon as you purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
  • You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; we do not refund the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after you cancel.

Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

When you use BuiltWise, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information and keep it up to date.
  • Ensure the content and details you provide are yours to use and comply with applicable law.
  • Not use the service for any unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or abusive purpose, and not resell, copy, or misuse it.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms, including non-payment, abuse, or unlawful use, with notice where practicable.

Your content and our platform

You retain ownership of the business content you provide. BuiltWise retains all rights in its platform, templates, software, and underlying technology. You grant us the permission needed to use the information you provide to build, operate, and support your site and chatbot and to communicate with you about the service.

Service availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we do not commit to a specific uptime at this stage.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuiltWise and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms here and revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
